Under a grant from the S.B. County Education office, Nimmer had 3 rd graders paired
with senior citizens and took turns asking each other questions about their lives. A third
student videotaped the activity.
Touring with the
Candidates
Nimmer offers each candidate for office a videco recorded tour of their area. They get 3
hours to record and tell Nimmer when to turn on and off the camera and up to 20
,minutes of recorded material. The itinerary and dialogue is up to the candidate. It is
shown on government access TV unedited.

standalone video kiosk for people to tell their library stories.
International
Student Film
Festival
Nimmer, along with Chrissy Strassburg, created the first international student film
festival. It premiered at the Santa Barbara international film festival in 2004. Entries
arranged from Belarus, Japan, Mexico, and the United States.
All-Ages-Karaoke
Nimmer created a platform and TV show for a multi general generational playtime. It
uses karaoke music to connect generations young kids are encouraged to sing songs
from the ABCs adult Sinatra to Beyoncé. It creates a fun all ages atmosphere of people
performing and encouraging
