D’Art Santa Barbara 2020 Nimmer threw a dart at a map of the Santa Barbara Open Studio tour and went to the studio closest to where the dart landed. He mixed it up with the artist and their work. Artist then threw the dart at the map to determine the next artist to visit and a question to ask them.
Dart Vietnam 2012? While in Vietnam, Nimmer threw a dart at a map of Hanoi and went to that address to mix it up.

Exchange 1998?
Under a grant from the S.B. County Education office, Nimmer had 3 rd graders paired
with senior citizens and took turns asking each other questions about their lives. A third
student videotaped the activity.
Touring with theCandidates 2012
Nimmer offers each candidate for office a videco recorded tour of their area. They get 3
hours to record and tell Nimmer when to turn on and off the camera and up to 20
,minutes of recorded material. The itinerary and dialogue is up to the candidate. It is
shown on government access TV unedited and posted online. Nimmer did this for seven different elections until funding and support ended.
Carp Quiz 2005? Nimmer's High School class produced a game show about Carpinteria trivia.
Kids Games Show 2023 Nimmer developed "The Kids Game Show Package" for Teen Clubs to buy to put on games shows. Nimmer demonstrated how it's done.

Nimmer created a
standalone video kiosk for people to tell their library stories. It was used by libraries to promote their services.

Student Film
Festival 2004
Nimmer, along with Chrissy Strassburg, created the first International Student Film Festival.
It premiered at the Santa Barbara international film festival in 2004. Entries
arranged from Belarus, Japan, Mexico, and the United States.
All-Ages-Karaoke 2003?
Nimmer created a platform and TV show for a multi general generational playtime. It
uses karaoke music to connect generations young kids are encouraged to sing songs
from the ABCs adult Sinatra to Beyoncé. It creates a fun all ages atmosphere of people
performing and encouraging
