Nimmer travelled by train from the West Coast to the East Coast and in each major city, he threw a dart at a map of all that town's museums. Wherever it landed, he did a story about the art. This was one stop.
Burning Man “Art- On Outfits”
Since 2001,, Nimmer has worn second hand white shirt and slacks to the annual Burning Man Festival. He writes “Art On” and the year on his pocket, filled with multicolor markers. He invites people to write or draw on each outfit for a week.
The Voyeur (Culver City 2012)
Between wives, Nimmer lived in LA for a year. He wondered if people across the way looked into his apartment window. So, he videotpaed himelf working at his desk, projected it on paper over the window and checked it out from the neighbors viewpoint.

Me to Me (1980)
Nimmer performed this poem he wrote about himself in 1978 for a San Francisco State project. Critic Dan Giesler calls it “Howl 2.0”.
Larry in Therapy
During the Pandemic, Nimmer found a therapist who would allow him to videotape his sessions. It didn't get to much love, so, he didn't make additional episodes.
Angry Man
This is Nimmer recreating an angry man he saw at Target.
Who Are They
This was a concept for a TV show. You look at somebody across the restaurant and guess who they are. Then, you actually ask the people the same questions. It was to show that you can't judge a book by its cover.
Wish Tickets
During Nimmer's first visit to Burning Man, he made these wish tickets, the size of a business cards, to allow people to make wishes. It's part of the theme of "giving" at Burning Man Festival.
